Advocating for yourself while living with medical PTSD is an upward battle itself. The tricky thing about medical PTSD is that it developed from interacting with a chaotic medical system for healthcare you need to survive. So how can one stand up to that same force? How to you explain to a provider what you need, especially , like me, when you feel the need to be hyper controlling just to have at all sense of having any control?
