Woof. Communication is a tricky thing. Many triggers form Medical PTSD comes from poor patient-provider communication. You simply don’t know what is going on in each person’s head and they don’t know what’s going on in yours. This leaves good, concise communication as the only bridge. There’s so many parts to communication; tone of voice, timing, sentence structure, etc. In theory it seems easy but in practice it’s hard. What kind of communication style works best for you?
