Discussion Group: Imposture Syndrome

Imposture syndrome is loosely defined as doubting your abilities and feeling like a fraud. It’s known to affect high achievers who struggle with accepting their own accomplishments. 100%, if you have a chronic illness, you are a high achiever in my book. We have to be high achievers, between tracking medications, appointments, providers, etc. It can be easy to dismiss those small healthcare accomplishments and feel like a fraud when it comes to your capabilities to advocate for yourself.
