Discussion Group: Acknowledgement

There is so much more that goes into being chronically ill than just being very sick. We’re our own case manager, our own scheduler, our own nurses, our own advocates, our own intake specialist. We call up the insurance companies when hospital bills are not processed correctly, we play telephone between doctors, and so much more! Heck, how fast could a chronically ill person become president if one day they woke up without chronic illness? We’d rule the world! But we get little praise for the work we do, our work is downplayed by providers, causing isolation and feelings of “why bother?” Have you felt this way? Register here!
